JG's Page for ....
The Inklings writers' group was born out of a creative writing course at Liverpool University's Continuing Education Department at the end of the 1980s.
A majority of the members of that course wished to continue to meet weekly to read and discuss their work and were fortunate in obtaining the use of a room in Liverpool Central Library in 1991 which, happily, continues to remain the venue for all meetings.
New faces have, of course, joined the group over the years bringing fresh minds, new ideas and unique styles from which all members benefit and it is felt imperative that this is a trend that must continue.
Consequently, we invite all writers, beginners or professional, aspiring or successful, ambitious or hopeful, with time to spare on Wednesday afternoons and within travelling distance of central Liverpool to join us.
A friendly, totally informal welcome awaits you.
We look forward to meeting you
